Intro to Sewing

Class Description

Skill level: No experience required! If you’ve never touched a sewing machine, this class is for you! Learn to use a sewing machine in a friendly and welcoming environment while making a super cool and useable reversible tote bag! During this class, we’ll work together to learn the very basics of using a sewing machine. We will set it up, learn some basic stitches, and make our bags together. Students will leave with a booklet of everything we learned as well as a new empowering skill! Hooray! Students may bring their own machine or use ours. All materials provided. No experience required! If you want to bring your own fabric: please bring four 14”x16” pieces of woven (non-stretchy) fabric!
