Intro to Sergers

Class Description

Skill level: Beginner, no serger experience required Pre-requisite: Intro to sewing or equivalent experience Learn all about the serger! You’ll get to know the serger machine and a variety of techniques, practice threading, and work on a project. For the t-shirt project: Students will be creating a clone of a tshirt. Students should bring a t-shirt that fits comfortably, plus 1.5-2yds of jersey knit fabric to make a new shirt. You should be be able to fold your fabric in half and lay your inspo t-shirt on top. Class size is limited to four students.
